Brent Lynch

Brent Lynch has enjoyed a distinguished and award-winning career in the arts for over 25 years. His early works ranged from large scale murals to books, magazine, and record cover illustrations. He was commissioned to produce numerous paintings for publication featuring national and international events including sports, tourism, opera, dance, and theater productions. His innovative and unique work was recognized world-wide and honored with many prestigious communication arts awards for illustration and design.

Over the past decade, Brent's career evolved into the exploration and development of his paintings. The power and energy of both his figurative and landscape works are a result of Brent's need to draw and compose from life. Whether life drawing in the studio or painting in the field, it is the immediate, raw connection with his subject that is the cornerstone of his work. Dynamic use of color and brushstrokes as well as daring compositions tell a unique story through each piece.

Current projects find Brent working with design and architectural firms to create large installations and murals around the world. He continues to paint in his studio on the West Coast but his travels often take him to the top of a mountain or kayaking down a river with paints in tow. His original and published artwork is found in many corporate, government, private, and gallery collections around the world. His instructional workshops are in demand and he is often invited to participate in select solo and group exhibitions both nationally and abroad.
